...I'm not sure what I just watched, but it was neat. The camera movements were a nice touch, but they could stand to be smoothed out and slowed down a bit - it felt a little bit jerky and spastic.

I liked it, even if I don't get it.

Thanks for the review I will put it into practice

The actual animation does not appear to be your biggest obstacle. I could pick things apart, but in essence I believe the audio is causing you the most trouble here. It sounds like you've got a combination of bad compression settings in flash and a microphone that doesn't do the recordings justice.

Otherwise, not a bad entry, from a technical standpoint.

The-Rat responds:

this was quite helpful, actually. I'm not just clicking the helpful button at random.

A fat, naked man running across the screen on all fours for the entire duration of a song that you probably don't even have the rights to use?

I classify that as spam, and there's really nothing else to be said.

Your reference to a Joss Whedon cult classic is nothing short of epic.

This 10 goes to Badhorse, the Thoroughbred of Sin! :D

Decent.

Certainly better than a massive portion of the crap that gets submitted. Thanks for finding a use for my loop, by the way. I think it actually fits alright with this flash.
Your artwork and editing is pretty nice...
If I might suggest something to improve upon, it would be getting some tension to build up in your story by using the sound. The music fits, but for maximum impact you want to have some build in the sound occurring leading up to your moments of shock.

Good luck with your future projects.

Power to you, Airfaerie!

Pretty slick!

This wasn't really bad at all, despite what some other people have been saying. I think the main reason for why they've rated this poorly is simply because the voice recordings were a little bit distracting. What I mean is that the voice doesn't come through very clearly, and it comes out too loud. If you played with the levels a little bit and maybe ran your voiceovers through a filter to remove some fuzz... You'd be getting much better ratings. From me, you get a solid 80%.

I liked this.
Power to you, Adollfo - and thanks for using my song! ;D

adollfo responds:

thanks =)...I'll follow your advise....and by the way your song is awesome

I like.

I have to say, the work you put in here is fantastic. I'm sure you've heard it all before, but I just felt like I needed to put my two bits in. I love the animation style, and how well you imitated the actual locations/landscapes from the game itself - the resemblance is uncanny. I have to say my fav part was the owl - damn, that was good. I hated that owl so much in the game... XP

10/10, 5/5.
I know you won't read this, but hey. Awesome job.

I make music!
